Fantastic ambiance!! Wonderful food!! Great service. We will absolutely be coming back to this place. We had the Bacon & Beer queso, which is as good as is sounds...beef tongue and beef cheek tacos, which I preferred the tongue, but my husband loved both...breaks fast burrito: little small, but very VERY tasty...and house margs, which were good. Can’t wait to come back 3

Solid preparation and excellent food, not something that you frequently see done at this caliber in Colorado Springs. The only negative I have would be how noisy the restaurant was, and it did not appear to have any sound deadening. However, regardless of that, the drinks were great and by taking advantage of the drink specials, not terribly expensive. This is probably some of the more authentic Mexican food available in the area, I would highly recommend spending your money here.

Excuse you Colorado Springs?! Look no further than Zocalo if you’re also burning for authentic Mexican. Checked into the hotel right next store and was on a mission for tacos. I found the gold mine y’all. I ordered the Maui Fish (blackened), Steak Chimichurri, and dear GOD the Quesabirria tacos. It wasn’t until folks started looking at me that I recognized my own moaning from these most perfect blend of authentic flavors. As for service... if you want to feel like you’re being treated, request Jake. Talk about polished customer service and just a fun energy! Atmosphere... I mean they have actual swings to sit and eat at. 10/10 Zocalo you have a lifer

We were visiting our son and he introduced us to this amazing place! The atmosphere, food, drinks, staff - all 5 stars! We all tried a variety of different dishes - and EVERY bit was delicious! We will be back for sure! I even told the owner this was THE BEST Mexican food I'd ever had! Fresh and delicious!

Oh my goodness! I cannot adequately express how magical this beautiful, yummy, fun, energetic, welcoming, phenomenal establishment is! I mean— who else would go out of their way to help you throw a Hedgehog birthday party, aaaaaand— simultaneously support many of my philanthropic Yoga events (raising money for local nonprofits within our beautiful Colorado Springs community!) STUPENDOUS doesn't even begin to cover it!

Went here yesterday on a whim with a friend. Was absolutely blown away by how amazing the food was! We happened to be there during happy hour, so all street tacos were discounted. I got four tacos and my friend got three tacos and a chimichanga to go. Personally, I only had the blackened and fried fish tacos and a quesabirria taco, all of which I highly recommend. The tacos were stuffed to the brim and very filling. The quesabirria taco came with consumme for dipping and it was perfect. Three of them filled me up and I took the last one to go. It was still delicious the next day! The atmosphere is bright and beautiful, the bathrooms were clean and easy to find, and there are bar seats with swings if you like that kind of thing. Bonus: The horchata was super cinnamony and delicious!
